Saturn goes Stationary Retrograde on June 4 in Aquarius at 1°04. This is when Saturn makes a full stop before going backwards/Retrograde for almost 5 months, until October 23. The stationary motion offers great insight about our lives. Retrograde Saturn is a time of important revision and internalized energie or looking within and assessing the experiences we've had so far.
When a planet is Retrograde, it does not actually go backwards. It is closer to the earth and gives the illusion of backward motion from the earth's viewpoint. This planet becomes consequently very potent. This is why its energy can be difficult to handle and usually causes uncertainty and confusion.
It is advised to take a step back during this time. A step back doesn't mean to stop living your life, it simply means to slow down and proceed with deeper awareness and less hurry. It's important to be aware of the fact that Saturn Retrograde periods offer great opportunity for personal growth.
This is an important period of introspection and re-evaluation. There will be some setbacks and delays in our lives, and also in the world, more specifically in finance and at the govermental level since the majority of the Retrograde occurs in sidereal Capricorn. Some restructuring will be necessary in our lives.
Saturn is the planet of responsibility, structure, limitations, discipline, and building solid foundations. He is a truthful and strict teacher with profound lessons for us. He puts roadblocks and delays in our lives if we aren't ready or prepared to go any further. This process of delaying is a crucial preparation and growth process for the next phase or in our lives.
Saturn retrogrades back into Capricorn on July 12 where it remains retro until October 23. Saturn finishes this cycle by first going stationary direct, it makes a full stop before moving forward again. This is when we'll feel very excited to move forward in our lives.
