Let’s examine Iran’s chart in light of current events —mass protests which have turned into a massive revolution, tragic loss of life, imprisonments, and recent widespread internet shutdowns.
The first chart below is the chart used for Iran, based on the founding of the Islamic Republic in 1979. The second chart shows the transits on December 28, 2025, the day the protests first erupted. (I'm using the sidereal zodiac, the real placements of the planets in the sky).
For those unfamiliar, a country’s chart is often read from the Moon, treating it as the first house. It's also useful to examine the chart of the country’s president for additional insight.
Iran’s Moon is placed in sidereal Taurus, its exalted sign, at 11° of Rohini nakshatra, reflecting deep connections to land, beauty, natural resources, fertility of land, and material abundance.
The Moon reflects emotion, psychology, and deep karmic memory. This is an intensely emotional period for the people of Iran—one that carries profound karmic weight and marks a moment of potential massive and historic liberation.

IRAN'S MOON IN TAURUS - CONJUNCT URANUS' 7 YEAR TRANSIT
Iran's Moon is highly impacted by the presence of Uranus, which remains in Taurus until 2032. Uranus is the planet of revolution, unpredictability, and disruption of the old order. This long transit shakes Iran to the core, bringing instability and significant change around security, foreign relations, resources, and finances. This is a period of unavoidable reform, and also mass awakening.
AUGUST 2026 - A PIVOTAL TURNING POINT
The exact conjunction of Uranus and Iran's Moon is in August 2026, this is around the same time as the Total Solar eclipse of August in sidereal Cancer, which is ruled by the Moon, (Iran's 3rd house of courage, communication/information, social media, transportation). I believe there could be some monumental news around this time for Iran.
Interestingly, is that the August total eclipse will make a quincunx (6/8 aspect) with Iran's Ketu in their 10th house of government. The eclipse is at 25 degrees Cancer, and Iran's Ketu is at almost 24 degrees Aquarius, which could indicate the fall of the government, and the end of a major karmic cycle. The 6/8 aspect is not a minor aspect from my observation over the years, far from it, it can signal pivotal life and world events.
Additionally, Iran is going through a reverse nodal-return (I wont get into the details) but this is very karmic and gives the country a major opportunity to heal and resolve conflict pertaining to their homeland and government. Everything that is transpiring is so clearly indicated by stars.
By August 2026, the collective psyche of the people of Iran will be even more stirred for imminent change and freedom. I hope that they will receive both.
IRAN'S T-SQUARE ACTIVATED IN AUGUST - MASSIVE BREAKTHROUGH
If the above isn't enough, there is more to the Uranus-Moon conjunction coming up this summer.
Iran's chart has a T-square involving the Moon as the apex planet, Venus in Aquarius, and Saturn in Leo. This T-square indicates a profound ongoing tension and stress for the people of Iran since 1979. It's on the 4-10 axis (homeland/security VS government leaders/authorities). The Moon is smack in the middle of this axis, receiving extreme tension from both sides. This aspect tells the story of Iran since its theocracy in1979.
Now, the exact conjunction of Uranus with Iran's Moon in August will radically activate this
T-square, and create an unavoidable breaking point or a massive breakthrough, or a breaking point that leads to a major breakthrough. I think this is the time when Iran will be free from the Islamic republic. There are too many astrological indications that point to this moment.
VENUS TRANSIT IRAN'S 8TH HOUSE - QUINCUNX THE MOON 6/8
Notably on December 28, the first day of the protests, Venus (ruler of Taurus) and the Sun (ruler of the 4th—homeland and security) were at 10° & 12° Sagittarius in Iran’s 8th house, forming a near-exact quincunx to Iran’s Moon. This sharply activated themes of economical crisis, instability, and forced transformation. The 8th house pertains to shared resources as well.
Both Sun and Venus were in Mula Nakshatra, associated with destruction and upheaval, with Mars already in the 8th house. Mercury has since joined them, creating a four-planet concentration of profound metamorphosis and purification. (Iran is undergoing a Jupiter-Mars dasha (planetary period) and Narayana period of Sagittarius-Leo, activating the houses/areas mentioned above in the first chart).
The January 9 triple conjunction of Sun, Venus, and Mars in Sagittarius acts as a total reset, pointing to a restructuring of shared resources and life-altering transformations in Iran’s future.

SATURN-NETUNE CONJUNCT - IRAN'S MERCURY + MARS
The Saturn and Neptune transit and conjunction will ultimately bring the fall of the old order for Iran, hopefully. This conjunction is present in their 11th house of Pisces, which rules protests, social reform, technology, and gains via alliances.
Saturn is at 2° and Neptune at 5° , and are joined by Iran’s Mercury retrograde at 3°—the ruler of the 2nd house of finance—and Mars near 2°, ruler of 7th and 12th house, of justice, agreements, open & hidden enemies, imprisonment, debt, and endings.
Mars is the planet of war, military, and violence. Mercury is naturally the planet of communication, including media, social media.
This very close alignment with Saturn highlights severe economic strain alongside pressure and resistance from governance. However it will fail, the government that is.
MERCURY GANDANTA IN THE TRANSIT CHART
In the transit chart, Mercury moves through gandānta in Scorpio, intensifying volatility in Iran’s 7th house, bringing instability in relationships, alliances, treaties, and negotiations. This also spills into economic matters, as Mercury governs economy in Iran's chart.
At the same time, Mercury forms a Shadashtaka (6/8) relationship with transit Jupiter in the 2nd house of Iran, intensifying financial strain and crisis, and strain between speech and agreements.
FEBRUARY & MARCH ECLIPSES - ON IRAN’S 4-10 AXIS
Again this axis is the focus. The upcoming February and March eclipses in Aquarius and Leo will be significant for Iran, as they have key planets in these signs.
The Solar eclipse on February 17 in Aquarius falls in Iran’s 10th house of government, signaling possible loss, or a shift in leadership or policy.
The Total Lunar eclipse on March 3rd in Leo occurs in the 4th house of homeland and security, impacting national stability and internal affairs. This is a Total Full Moon eclipse, very powerful and very close to Iran's Saturn (within 4 degrees). This is something to look out for as Saturn rules their 10th house and is conjunct Ketu, on the nodal axis.
With multiple planets along this axis, these eclipses will expose vulnerabilities, intensify pressure on governance, and push Iran toward profound reform.
JANUARY 18 - MAJOR ALIGNEMENT OF 6 PLANETS IN CAPRICORN
Coming up next week is a six-planet alignment in Capricorn (Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Pluto) which activates Iran’s 9th house, the domain of law, justice, religion, ideology, and foreign policy. Capricorn brings matters of authority, governance, and accountability to the forefront, suggesting serious, high-level deliberations.
This gathering points to world leaders, institutions, and legal authorities possibly collectively reassessing Iran’s situation, with a focus on policy, international responsibility, and potential pathways for structured support or intervention. It reflects a moment when Iran’s future is discussed strategically—within global frameworks of law, order, and long-term consequence.
CONCLUSION
I haven’t addressed all the details here, some nuances are clear to those who read the stars deeply, but I’ve highlighted what I see as the most pivotal astrological events on Iran’s horizon.
This is a monumental, historic moment for the country, one that seems to signal the end of the old, forced order.
In Vedic astrology, planets like Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are often overlooked—but ignoring them is a mistake. Their influence is profound, shaping not just societies on a large scale, but our personal lives in ways that can’t be ignored.
Uranus, in particular, is playing a pivotal role. Its very essence is revolution, sudden change, and breaking free from old constraints, and it is acting decisively within Iran’s chart, marking a time of profound upheaval and transformation. Things will not be the same moving forward for the people of Persia.
