We’re turning the page on the corona virus and entering new territories with the big shift of the karmic lunar nodes entering the axis of Aries and Libra.
This axis is all about the self and others, yet there is no separation between us and others. The 7th house serves as a mirror of who we are. Hence, we subconsciously attract our marriage or business partners and lovers. We attract the people in our lives based on our karmas (i.e., past life actions).
The 7th is the house of our open enemies. These enemies are nothing but outer manifestations of our own inner “enemies”, they represent subconscious issues that we have yet to deal with and face. So, pay attention to who and what you attract in your life, as they are indicator of you are, what your karmas are, and what you need to heal and change to have better relationships.
Hence, the first house is not that superficial of a house, as some might think. It may be the first house, but it does not represent our first life. Hence, the lord of our first house is incredibly crucial for comprehending our karma. With the transit of Rahu in Aries, it will be crucial to follow the transits that Mars will make in the next 18 + months. Same thing for Ketu in Libra, we must look at the transits of Venus for the duration of Ketu in Libra. The transits of the lords of the lunar mansions that Rahu and Ketu will be in, are also crucial.
Rahu entering Aries and joining Uranus, is quite the placement! Rahu will intensify & magnify the unpredictability and innovative qualities of Uranus. Nothing will stick. Everything will constantly change. This transit will be full of innovations and advancements at the neurological level. Also, the electrical, nano-technological, radiological, & nuclear level. New AI (Artificial Intelligence) may be introduced to the world. Both Aries and Rahu deal with the head, so we may hear more about AI chip implants or various types of implants for the head and brain. Uranus is also known as the great awakener bringing in sudden and numerous awakenings, which will be a big theme with this transit or Rahu in Aries.
Aries is all about self-assertiveness, action, the birthing process, new beginnings, new life cycles.
This is a youthful sign full of excitement for life and impulsivity. Mars being the ruler deals with passion, conflict, raw energy, war, soldiers, the military, explosions, bombings. Premature and eminent death is also seen here. Aries can be quite the selfish sign. Rahu’s transit here is especially self-centered, hot-headed, and full of limitless desires. This will cause important relationship problems in our personal lives and globally, as we are already seeing with the Russia/Ukraine war.
Rahu is the head of the snake without the body, he has insatiable hunger, is full of illusions and thrives in the material laden world, while Ketu is the body of the snake without the head and is a sobering force that removes the smoke of illusion. Ketu is detachment, Rahu is obsession. With Ketu the focus is on the unperishable and eternal, while Rahu’s focus is on the perishable and temporal. The goal is to unite them and create harmony in our lives, Rahu needs Ketu, and Ketu needs Rahu in our human experience. Rahu is our future, while Ketu is our past, past lives. Rahu is unfamiliar territory; Ketu is our acquired experience from past lives and familiarity. The mission in our lives is developing Rahu (the higher qualities of Rahu) with the help & experience of Ketu. This is how we grow and evolve our soul.
Ketu is a spiritual force that connect us to great perception and wisdom, even psychism, enlightenment and self-realization. Rahu connects us to worldly power, affluence, success, but also to great occult powers. Rahu gets a bad reputation but isn’t all bad or always bad. Rahu can give us much enlightenment, usually after “giving” us much heartache and problems.
Exploring and experiencing our Rahu is an important part of life. Rahu in Aries tells us that we need to develop ourselves and who we are, we need to become independent but not at the cost of losing important relationships in our life. So creating balance in these areas is the way to go. We also need to use our energy in wiser ways, we need to step out of the ordinary and create something worthwhile. This is an opportunity to make things happen, to act but with vigilance, using the wisdom of Ketu in Libra, which in its higher form understands the value of true love, relationships, and healthy compromise.
There is a valuable lesson with Ketu in Libra, and that is to accept others as they are and to be thankful that we have them in our life. Ketu can be very critical and feel unfulfilled in Libra or conjunct Venus, missing the bigger picture, but with loss and failure in relationships and marriage, one begins to focus on what really matters. With maturity and experience we begin to look at relationships with a spiritual eye & with greater perception, we begin to see that harmony is needed for successful relationships.
Now the 7th house or Libra is all about relationships, agreements, compromise, matrimony & contracts. It is also the house of open enemies, so with Ketu’s transit here it may cause the dissolution of marriage and contracts. We can expect this at the governmental level, big changes here for sure.
Libra is a sign that requires balance and harmony, and so it will be quite difficult to achieve that, it’s a challenge we have to take proactively. On one hand Ketu in Libra truly desires and longs for partnership but it has high and unrealistic standards, which is the cause of conflict and relationship failure. On the other hand, Ketu is quite detached, aloof, and indecisive towards relationships while feeling deeply unfulfilled. Ketu is likened to Mars and as a co-ruler of Scorpio, it causes sudden endings and big transformation in Libra in the areas of matrimony and partnership.
We may attract partners who are aloof, have serious issues, or have non-traditional values towards relationship and marriage, or partners who are quite spiritual and on a conscious spiritual path. Partners from the past (including our past life) may return into our lives during this transit. This is a great opportunity for healing.
The Rahu Ketu axis in Aries and Libra causes important relationship problems mainly because of the ego and arrogance that is often seen here. Once the ego is diminished and we are humbled, relationships can work out. We can become confident in our individuality and satisfied in our relationships if we look at them with deeper perception which is what Ketu teaches us here, and if we are willing to compromise.
Look back to the last time that the nodes were in these signs between late 2003 and early 2005, what was going on in your life? The themes may be quite similar this time too, there is an opportunity to heal and awakening.
Eclipses occur because of Rahu and Ketu, and are very intense and powerful times of both darkness and light/insight. The eclipses can cause events to manifest in our lives weeks and even months before hand and afterward.
The dates for the Eclipses are:
· April 30, Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries, at 16 degrees of Bharani, conjunct Uranus at 20 degrees
· May 16, Total Lunar eclipse in Scorpio at 1 degree of Vishakha.
· October 25, Partial Solar eclipse in Libra at almost 7 degree 48 of Swati, conjunct Combust Venus
· November 7, Total Lunar eclipse in Aries at 21 degrees of Bharani, conjunct Retrograde Uranus at 22 degrees, opposite Venus and Combust Mercury at 21 degrees
