March 13 Total Lunar Eclipse

The total lunar eclipse on March 14th, 2:51 am EDT, occurs at 29 degrees Uttara Phalguni in sidereal Leo. This is a Ketu eclipse, indicating past karmic implications, and a period of letting go and detachment/endings. The 29 degree mark also indicates the end of an era or chapter.

Uttara Phalguni, the star of Shiva and Parvati’s union/marriage, symbolizes agreements and contracts. Leo’s ruler, Sun being conjunct Saturn makes contract negotiation quite challenging. Both being in Purva Bhadrapada implies a certain heavy loss.

At a personal level, this eclipse signifies a heightened awareness facilitating the closure or loss of a relationship or contractual agreement, potentially including karmic connections and deep soul ties.

There is a sacrificial element involved, where we let go of something we may be fond of or attached to, in order to gain something far deeper or more aligned with our true self and path.

The potent total lunar eclipse significantly impacts presidents and other leaders. The Sun's tight conjunction with Saturn in Aquarius creates a considerable burden of responsibility and karmic consequences. This is a serious matter.  A tight Sun/Saturn conjunction typically signifies restriction, blockage, and delay.  Aquarius governs the people, community, common citizens, artificial intelligence, advanced technology, and electrical systems. We can say that the Leo/Aquarius axis is all about the powers that be versus the common man, or population.

Sun, Saturn, and Rahu are all in Purva Bhadrapada, which is a karmically significant lunar mansion, oftentimes resulting in "instant karma". The symbolism of Purva Bhadrapada is the front legs of a funeral cot, which pertains to mortality.  Furthermore, the sword symbol points towards potential conflict or aggression. If we look at Neptune, it is at 5 degrees of sidereal Pisces, this is the exact location of star Scheat, which pertains to immense sorrow and death. Neptune adds a lot of confusion, deception and lies to the eclipse. We think we are being told the truth, but that's just not the case.

Lunar eclipses illuminate concealed matters, bringing previously unknown information to our attention. However, Neptune's influence will cloud this "truth" significantly, at least for the time being. Be prudent who you trust, as all is not as it seems.

As I always mention, please avoid starting anything new during eclipse season. Also avoid looking at eclipses as they are omens of inauspiciousness, which cloud our perception, judgement, and mind.

Be advised that total lunar eclipses increase aggression and reactivity in individuals. Keeping things simple is advised on the day of and the days leading up to the eclipse, don't overwhelm or stress yourself.
