The Cosmic Turning Point: Pluto-Jupiter, and the Birth of A New Era

Jupiter hits the 10 degree mark in sidereal Cancer and opposes Pluto in Cancer from July 19 to the 22.

If we go back in history and look at this opposition that occurs every 12 to 13 years, there is a recurring theme of corruption or scandal being exposed or brought to light, often involving big sums of money, and people being held accountable through the legal system. This time it is no different, even if Jupiter is part of a bigger picture involving the three outer planets; Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto which are all at 10 degrees this month of July 2026.

This configuration may have never happened before in history. Like many other astrologers, I went back in time, did my research and couldn’t find a time when all three outer planets aligned at the exact same degree.

Uranus sits in Taurus at 10 degrees and is in a trine with Pluto at 10 degrees Capricorn, while Neptune sits at the midpoint in Pisces at 10 degrees making a sextile to both planets on either side. We can call this configuration a minor grand trine or minor trine, I believe.

A Utopian New Era ?

Some believe this configuration will bring the end of a crisis era or the end of wars, etc, or like French Astrologer Andre Barbault predicted before his passing in 2019; this marks “The beginning of a splendid relaunch of civilization”.

I would love this to be true, but I'm not sure if splendid is the right word or idea here. There are definitely positives; including scientific, technological, and even healing or medical advancements, which is wonderful. There is also, in my view, the emergence of a new wave of collective awakening and heightened awareness that will continue to unfold in the decades to come.

But I also believe this configuration opens the gates to an ultra-AI, high-tech future. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? That is for you to decide. There are pros and cons.

I believe it will be more important than ever to maintain and cultivate our connection to divine intelligence, ensuring that artificial intelligence serves as a tool for humanity rather than replacing the deeper wisdom and consciousness that guide us.

Uranus in Taurus

Uranus in Taurus brings innovation and further AI integration within the Taurus sphere; banking & monetary systems, agriculture & farming, food & beverage industry, and even within the very fibers of nature itself.  Uranus stays in Taurus until July 4, 2031.

Uranus is in a trine (120-degree aspect) with Pluto in Capricorn, another earth sign, which pertains to our physical-material existence on earth and everything that it entails.

Trines are very harmonious and carry an easy flow of energy. Things develop quite effortlessly with trines and work just fine and just as planned. But who’s plans are we talking about here with Uranus and Pluto? I’d say the governments.

And yes of course, there is the bigger plan even, the divine intelligence plan that allows everything to happen.

Pluto in Capricorn

Pluto is the planet of regeneration (death and rebirth), he’s in Capricorn, the sign of world governments, governmental corporations, institutions, and infrastructures.

There is a death happening here, of the current governmental systems, and there will be the emergence of a brand-new system. Will it be a one world government? Highly probable. Pluto remains in Capricorn until March 2, 2039.

Pluto is also the God of the underworld (underground tunnels & cities, hidden subconscious fears & blocks), power, control, manipulation, obsession, crisis, and profound psycho-spiritual transformation. He rules scandals, corruption.

So much has already been disclosed since 2020, Pluto’s entrance into Capricorn. And so much will continue to come to light. By the end of Pluto’s transit here, the world will be extremely different; a whole new governmental system will rule the world.

The 248 Year Cycle of Pluto

I wanted to see the last time that Pluto was in Capricorn in opposition to Jupiter in Cancer, and this brought me back about 248 years ago, in 1776 and 1777.

The United States was born in 1776 with the Declaration of Independence, while 1777 marked a decisive turning point in the emergence of the new nation.

The first Pluto–Jupiter opposition on this axis began in November 1776, coinciding with one of the greatest crises of the American Revolution.

The revolutionary cause was in doubt, leadership was under immense pressure, and the struggle for sovereignty had reached a critical point.

As the opposition became exact in 1777, the Articles of Confederation established the first framework for a national government, laying the constitutional foundations of the United States.

1777 marked the moment when the Revolution survived its greatest military test and gained the international support needed to become a viable nation.

As you can see in the chart below, Uranus was also in Taurus, while Neptune was in Virgo, the opposing sign to its current position in Pisces. Together with Pluto in Capricorn, the three outer planets formed a broad Earth Grand Trine.

Although not exact by degree, this harmonious configuration coincided with a remarkable period of political, scientific, technological, and industrial transformation in the decades that followed, helping lay the foundations of the modern industrial and political world.

History does not repeat itself exactly, but it often echoes through similar themes. In the late 18th century, these cycles coincided with the emergence of new political structures and the foundations of the industrial world.

Today, we stand at another threshold, where artificial intelligence, technology, and new systems of organization will reshape human society in ways we are only beginning to understand. The question is not whether change is coming, it is how we choose to navigate and shape the world that emerges.
