The final New Moon of 2025 is also, we can say, the "darkest of the year", occurring close to the Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere, a powerful threshold between endings and rebirth. A noticeable dip in energy invites deep inward reflection, release, and karmic clearing.

🏹Deeply spiritual in nature, this lunation falls in Sagittarius, the sign of higher wisdom and truth, and in Mūla nakshatra, ruled by Ketu, the shadow planet of moksha (liberation) and separating energy. 🪾Mūla, the Root star, brings awareness to our deepest attachments and origins; family roots, ancestral ties, and past conditioning so they may be released or transformed at the source. Radical uprooting of ignorance is seen in Mūla.
