The Most Auspicious day of the Year – April 26, 2020, Akshaya Tritiya

Akshaya Tritiya

Every year, once a year, the Sun and Moon are both exalted at the same time. This is the most auspicious day of the year. The Sun is exalted in sidereal Aries at 10 degrees (Ashwini Nakshatra) while the Moon is exalted in sidereal Taurus at 3 degrees (Kritika nakshatra). (Sidereal simply means the actual placements of the planets, in accordance to astronomy.)

The Sun represents the divine masculine (the right side of the brain, the yang element, concept, fire element), while Moon represents the divine feminine (Left side of the brain, yin element, and water element)

When these two are strong in a birth chart, both physical health and psychological health will also be strong, generally. So they are incredibly important in a chart and while in transit. They represent the yin-yang, harmony and balance.

April 26 is the best time to do anything or start anything, whatever good you so desire, things will multiply, investments, charity work, anything you can think of is great to do on this day. Donating money to a special cause is perfect. Starting a new endeavor, whatever you can think of.

All the other transits don’t matter on this day. The sun and moon are very strong and will support any action, negating whatever other transit in doing.

If like me, you have seen the immense benefits of saying mantras, this is the perfect day for a Lakshmi mantra. Lakshmi is the goddess of good fortune, wealth, health, anything and everything good is represented by her.

Mantras (Manas = mind) do a wealth of good to the physical body as well as our minds. One main thing is that they help calm the mind and the nervous system, as they stimulate the endocrine system from the pituitary gland, all of this is of course backed up by science, neuroscience specifically.

Here is my favorite Lakshmi mantra:

Om Shri Maha-Lakshmi Namaha

(We should say it 108 times and be as focused on the mantra as much as possible and the goddess itself. We can chant it, we can whisper it, whatever feels right to you. But if you really want to feel the vibrations in your body, chanting is best and will set your energy in balance)

We would say it as follows:

Aaaauuummmmmmm Shhhhhhriiiiiiiiiiiiii Mahaaaaaaa-Lakshmiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Namahaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Lol hope this helps!
