Supermoon Partial Eclipse September 17-18

The September 17-18 Supermoon eclipse brings in new revelations, new directions at a personal level and worldwide, as well as endings, loss, and completions.

There is significant deception and confusion with this lunar eclipse being conjunct Neptune, as well as a great deal of sadness or sorrow by being close to fixed star Sheat, along with Mars being in Geminin, in Ardra; lunar mansion of sadness and storms.

Mars is squaring the nodes tightly creating a T-square. This will produce a sudden incident that may be related to the internet, travel, or even health as Gemini rules the lungs in medical astrology.

Health concerns are the theme for the upcoming 6 months, as the eclipses occur on the health axis, Virgo-Pisces. It’s time to take care of our ourselves and consider good quality vitamins and minerals, and even detoxing protocols.

The partial lunar eclipse happens on September 17 at 10:34 pm EDT in sidereal Pisces at 1°28 of PurvaBhadrapada, which is a highly intense lunar mansion and part of the sky. It is represented by a two-faced man, a sword, and the front legs of a funeral cot. This is a fiery and stormy lunar mansion with much spiritual depth and transformation.

Deception may come to light in our personal lives and on the world stage within the next 6 months.

The eclipse is near Sheat, as mentioned above, which is found around 5 degrees of sidereal Pisces. This is one of the most misfortunate stars. It deals with sorrow and death, as well as severe oceanic turbulence and drownings.

Mars is in Gemini, in Ardra, which also relates to sorrow and storms literally and figuratively speaking. So we have this double indication or energy surrounding sorrow, which is interesting because recently Mariah Carey’s mother and sister both died during the same weekend, and soon after there was the sad news of NHL star Johnny Gaudrau and his brother both passing in car crash. So we have this double sadness energy which I feel is important in some way for the upcoming couple of months. I may be wrong, we’ll see.

With Mars forming a tight T-square with Rahu and Ketu, something may suddenly explode or occur. Sudden deaths are possible.

Mars in Ardra is quite dramatic and angry. So watch out in terms of communication and hold your tongue if necessary.

If we look at the eclipse dispositors; Mercury and Jupiter, they are both in hard aspects to Saturn producing pressure and obstacles.

Saturn in Aquarius square Jupiter in Taurus indicates financial issues and tension, problems with the banking system, delays or restrictions of some sort.

Taurus is our voice, hence the censorship of the people (Aquarius rules the people) is indicated. New restrictive laws in this regard are coming, as well as new restrictive laws within the banking and monetary systems. Jupiter square Saturn is a real struggle between optimism and pessimism. Saturn restricts the optimistic and expansive nature of Jupiter. This is temporary however, but will last long.

As for Saturn opposite Mercury in Leo, this indicates serious communication or news to come, and health concerns relating to the heart. Travel delays or interruptions. Censorship once again is indicated.

We may find it difficult to talk to others during this aspect or to express ourselves.

This opposition concerns all of us, our leaders, celebrities, and health in general.

The Sun, Ketu, and Venus are all in Virgo emphasizing the importance of healing, and organizing our daily lives. Venus being part of the eclipse indicates issues with relationships, being debilitated and in chitra ruled by Mars indicates contention.

Pisces rules the lymphatic system, hospitals, secrecy, spirituality, mysterious deaths, addictions, endings, closing chapters, etc. It’s a highly sensitive and intuitive sign.

It has strong escapism tendencies, so beware of this especially with Neptune conjunct the supermoon eclipse & being so close to Sheat.

This eclipse can bring a great deal of sadness to those who are already struggling. If you’re going through a hard time don’t be afraid to speak to someone, anyone. Try not to isolate yourself. Reach out to people.

Pisces connects us to unconditional love that is always present within us. Connecting to our heart center can be soothing during the dark times of this eclipse season.
